Gregg Walters
Owner
The Midwest son of a truck driver, Gregg spent his childhood weekends washing and waxing semis under his father’s watchful (and demanding) eye. He’s brought that work ethic and diligence to everything he has done—whether that’s leading soldiers in combat as a young Army lieutenant, arguing cases throughout the United States, or meeting the legal needs of families, farmers, and small business owners in Central and Southern Illinois.
Gregg has more than two decades of criminal and civil litigation experience. He has served as first chair in numerous federal trials and has briefed and argued hundreds of appeals and post-conviction petitions. Gregg brings his courtroom experience, wide-ranging litigation skills, and experience as a federal prosecutor to his legal practice that includes criminal defense and appeals, estate planning, business law services, real estate matters, and probate.
Proverbs 24:27 offers a timeless truth: “Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house.” It’s fundamental to the way God has designed the world he created: First plan and get your resources together, and then execute. It’s also fundamental to the way Gregg practices law.
